We are entrusted with the significant and multifaceted responsibility of creating a safe, vibrant and welcoming community for all residents, while concurrently envisioning, conceptualizing, and guiding the strategic goals and long-term trajectory of the community. From initial conception to precise implementation, we ensure every step aligns with the broader vision, while continuously overseeing progress to secure lasting success. We manage and supervise all aspects of the community's operations, collaborating closely with the management team to ensure seamless daily operations. This includes everything from efficiently managing financial resources with a focus on maintaining and increasing property values, to fostering advancements that propel the community's growth and evolution. Ultimately, our goal is to enhance the quality of life for all residents, cultivate a neighborhood we are proud to call home, and ensure the community progresses and thrives for years to come.

Meet the Team!

Raquel Nash: President

Raquel Nash has been a resident of Aventura Lakes for over 20 years, bringing extensive experience in medicine, real estate, and property management. Fluent in Spanish, English, and Hebrew, she is a mother of four and grandmother of nine. Raquel earned her medical degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela, pursued a Master's in Ophthalmology, and completed a fellowship in refractive surgery and corneal transplant. She also successfully ran a private practice at Policlinica Metropolitana for a decade. After moving to Miami in 2002, she transitioned to real estate, becoming a licensed agent and co-partner in property management. She is an active member of the National, Florida, and Miami Associations of Realtors. Raquel is dedicated to building strong relationships and contributing to the Aventura Lakes HOA making her a valuable member of the board and our community.

Arthur “Artie” Shaykevich: Vice President

Artie Shaykevich is a transactional attorney with Greenberg Traurig, LLP, who focuses his practice on M&A and general corporate matters. He is a dedicated HOA board member known for his keen legal acumen and strategic insight. Before embarking on his legal career, Artie worked in digital marketing for Citibank. Artie has an undergraduate degree from Binghamton University, MBA from Yeshiva University and a JD from Brooklyn Law School, where he ranked in the top 1% of his graduating class. As an attorney, Artie excels in mergers and acquisitions, bringing his sharp analytical skills and thorough understanding of business needs to every transaction. His commitment to his work is paralleled by his dedication to his family, where he strives to be a good husband to his beloved wife Michelle and father to his three kids.

Diana Mayerson: Secretary

Diana Mayerson was born in Eastern Europe, has lived around the world and speaks 5 languages. As a former psychotherapist and current real estate agent, Diana is a consummate professional who brings her strong expertise in interpersonal relationships, communication, negotiation, problem-solving and analytical skills to her real estate career and the Aventura Lakes Board. When she is not busy closing deals for her clients or managing HOA matters, Diana is a hands-on mother to her two young children with Adam Mayerson, a luxury contractor, and her beloved husband of 16 years. Extroverted and sociable, Diana effortlessly connects with clients and builds lasting relationships. She is driven by achieving success and is passionate about the causes close to her heart, which include our special community.

Liliana White: Treasurer

Liliana White has been a proud resident of Aventura Lakes since 2002, where she has had the joy of raising her three children, now aged 22, 19, and 16, alongside her husband. Liliana’s professional journey began with significant roles in market research at AT&T and Terra Networks USA, leveraging her background in marketing and advertising. Over the past 20 years, she has transitioned into entrepreneurship, and has founded and managed multiple healthcare businesses with a focus on finances, operations, and HR. As a certified executive business coach, Liliana thrives on life's challenges both professionally and personally. Additionally, Liliana has dedicated her time to volunteer efforts, aiding communities in need in countries such as Colombia, the Bahamas, Japan, Tanzania, Rwanda and Israel. In her spare time, she enjoys working out, traveling the world, appreciating nature, and walking her dog.

Gustavo Bachman: Director

Gustavo Bachman has been a resident of Aventura for 29 years and is married to Marina Blachman. They have four children, Matias, Thomas, Nicholas, and Mia Valentina, and three grandchildren, Liam, Alan, and Ella Sofia. He moved to Aventura Lakes in June 2021 and recently joined the board of directors here. Gustavo is currently running for Aventura Commissioner for the open seat 1, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to serving his community. His community involvement includes roles as past Treasurer of Mystic Pointe Tower 600, past President of Atlantic One at The Point, past Board member of Atlantic Two at The Point, past President of Village by The Bay, and current Board Member of Aventura Lakes. Professionally, Gustavo is a licensed real estate broker, founder of Terrabella Realty, and author of "The Real Estate Diet” showcasing his expertise and innovative approach to the real estate industry.
